Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Read the details below or choose another policy from the list.
This policy covers an equipment issue, a planned return, cancellation and settlement of a deposit or advance payment. Charges and deadlines specific to your rental must be disclosed in the written order before acceptance.
If equipment is wrong or faulty
Check the configuration and listed accessories at handover. Record a visible problem or mismatch and contact support with the order number and useful evidence. A hidden fault can be reported when it becomes apparent.
We review the specification, handover record and reported issue, then explain the appropriate inspection, repair, replacement, return or refund route under the agreement and applicable law. A defective or materially different delivery is not treated as a simple change of mind.
Changes before dispatch
Tell us as soon as you need to change or cancel. We check whether equipment has been allocated, prepared or dispatched, and provide a written settlement showing any charge under the terms you accepted. An amount received for an order we cannot supply is reviewed separately from a customer cancellation.
See cancellation rules for the information to include and how a revised order is confirmed.
Any cancellation charge must also comply with applicable consumer protections, including the cancellation-charge condition described in our cancellation rules.
Early return
Ask for the early-return calculation before booking collection. It must use the method agreed in your order, including any notice requirement, minimum commitment or rate recalculation stated there. Returning equipment early does not automatically cancel all remaining charges.
Ask support to explain the agreed early-return calculation. If a charge was not disclosed before acceptance, ask for it to be reviewed.
Preparing a return
Confirm the collection address and date or the approved drop-off arrangement. Back up files, sign out of accounts and remove personal or business information. Ask support for help if a fault or management lock prevents that. Keep the charger, cables, screen and other listed accessories with the equipment.
Obtain and keep a collection or return acknowledgement showing what was returned. Returning a device is not a request for data recovery.
Inspection and charges
Returned equipment is compared with the handover record. Ordinary wear is distinguished from damage, missing accessories and loss. We provide the reason, assessment and calculation for any proposed charge. The order must state the inspection period and any valuation method before acceptance.
If you dispute a deduction, send the return record and evidence to support and ask for review. A settlement should show the undisputed amount separately from a disputed item.
Deposit and payment refunds
The settlement shows payments received, rental or other amounts owed, deductions and any refund balance. A deposit is separate from rental payments; cancellation does not automatically make every advance charge refundable.
The refund method and processing deadline applicable to your order are disclosed before acceptance and confirmed in the settlement. We verify recipient details before sending funds. Processing by a bank or payment provider can affect when the credit is visible. Ask for the transaction reference if the agreed date passes without receipt.
Follow-up and complaints
Contact support with the order number, amount and relevant return or payment records. Ask for the reason and expected resolution date if settlement is delayed. The public policy does not remove a right or remedy you have under applicable law.
Consumer complaints
For a complaint about a consumer rental, email support@indianrenters.com with the subject "Consumer complaint" and include the order number and issue. We aim to acknowledge the complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receipt. Raise the issue as soon as you can; a delayed report does not by itself remove an applicable legal remedy.
This complaint process does not restrict a remedy available under applicable law. Request the responsible grievance contact through support if you need escalation.
